Chocobo Inc.

A Chocobo for everyone – that is how the saying goes in a small town we passed . As we reached the port city of Entroquinol , there were streets filled with feathers . This town was well known for trading silk, incenses, wheat , spices  with animals,feather and fur . From woolly rhinoceros to giant elks , they had everything in stall . The latest demand was the fast and furious flightless bird called Chocobo . Introduced by the legendary air captain Cid , this bird is used by postal service , military and police . Various breeds chocobo were available . We too wanted to upgrade from our aged horses, so went looking in the stalls .

There were several chocobos to chose from :

Courser : The grand chocobo with both speed and strength . It is used throughout the grassland kingdoms as pets , cavalry , transport and even food . Chocobo eggs are very nourishing although meat of a chocobo is a no-no in many of these states .

Palfrey : These chocobos are built to carry heavy loads while trekking up a mountain , moving through the sands of a desert or even wading through water of swamps . Ideal for merchants , travelers or adventurers , like us . This cocobo has bluish black feathers.

Rousseau (or Rounsey) : These pets are ideal for household work . Every housewife would like to own one . They are helpful in farms , their feathers are excellent fir making clothes and they are sometimes bred for eggs .

Destrier : Towering above all other chocobos is the destrier , it is infact one of the biggest birds of prey in the continent, and thankfully it can be tamed, trained. It is used in the most elite regiment of the  knights . Sometimes warriors cover these birds with shining armor to protect them from arrows and other skirmish weapons .

Jennel : This one is probably the cutest one breed only as pets or for fashion . However , that doesnot stop the dwarf races to use them as transport.
