Pakistan has always eluded me, for a country where religion and guns goes before food and basic amenities it was very difficult to maintain peace. To render in peace and development one needs stability. You can make out the stability of a country by looking at its laws. No capital punishment, gay righs and freedom of minorities and equal rights for women are some of the criteria. Our notion that Pakistan has a culture similar to Arab Islamic country is very wrong, Their culture is closer to India and then Iran, before any other country. Half of the Pakistanis are infact Punjabis, the rest Pashtuns, Sindhis and Baluchis; a minor of them Iranis,Tajiks and Central Asian.
